Yes
Whilst reading this I came across this film. Anyone seen it? :)

A successful mod photographer in London whose world is bounded by fashion, pop music, marijuana, and easy sex, feels his life is boring and despairing. But in the course of a single day he accidentally captures on film the commission of a murder. The fact that he has photographed a murder does not occur to him until he studies and then blows up his negatives, uncovering details, blowing up smaller and smaller elements, and finally putting the puzzle together.

P.S. just ordered it from Caiman USA (via Amazon.co.uk) so :p

Sounds intriguing Joe ... :D

If it needs a home once you've watched it I can PM my address ... ;)

:p

Yes its a great film, seen it many times, a good slice of 60s London.

A touch dated but nonetheless a great film, also features the Yardbirds!

Thanks a lot. Sounds good. :)

I remember David Hemmings.

What worries me though is that if you click on his name in the cast. it takes you to his biography page which says he died in 2003.

Scroll further down though and he apparently starred in a film in 2007:shrug:

Blow up made David Hemmings famous, the part of the photographer was supposedly based on David Bailey, good film if very 'sixties'

David Hemmings died in 2003.

We are the mods, we are the mods, hip and trendy film, reminds me of strolling down carnaby street to go to Peter Lords to get a pair of straight leg levis for 2/6 before heading to the twisted wheel to meet up with the jazz fraternity for some hip shaking gladness............:)

Great film, even iconic id say.
Dean:)

Alas Joe I remember it all too well leading edge film of its day a bit dated by modern standards of course but great plot and superb acting for its time well worth a watch.

Alas my memories are entirely different! As a somewhat over sexed teenager I remember it for the 'session' with the two girls. And a Sharon Stone moment as I recall!! Sorry guys sad but true.
I also remember the developing room with film hung to dry everywhere and particularly the bit where he blows up the film... Enjoy

At last ... :suspect: ... anybody would think you two love birds have better things to do ... :naughty: ... and what do you mean it does try to make you think ... ... does that mean it fails miserably ... :D

:p
