Theres been a thick fog since I got up at 6am.

Great I thought, I'll get some brilliant effects with my green laser and long exposures tonight. I get home and try the laser out in the fog, lovely. I'll get the camera out when the kids have gone to bed.

Kids have just gone to bed and the fog lifts !!!!

Get the kids back out of bed then, see if it makes any difference.....:thumbs:
 
Ha ha, unlucky mate. But I'm jealous at the fact that you have a laser. Is it one of those high power ones that creates a beam of light?
 
Why not buy a sheapy smoke machine off ebay. Seriously, we got one for £80 and it smogs out ar hanger at work in about 2 minutes. With no wind a half decent machine would work outside. I know £80 isn't dead cheap, but some people spend for than that on CF cards :D

Its not dead hi powered, but in mist or fog etc, it does generate a nice beam of light. Tenner off ebay, brand new.

I keep toying with the idea of a smoke machine, cant afford one though :'(

You can hire them ;) When I was working in theatre we used to hire in a massive Jem theatrical fogger and it cost us about a tenner for the whole week!
 
Theres some smoke machines on ebay for £20... they look alright, wouldnt be any good outside but if you've got a spare room or garage itd probably be ok...

Just type smoke machine into ebay and theyll all pop up
