Bloody snow!

Just found out the GF is snowed in, in Kelso, only about 50 miles south of me. We have clear blue skies in Edinburgh at the mo. She cant make it up to Edinburgh for the Hogmanay concert with Madness
Anyone else snowed in?

I'm working till 11.30pm - just hoping the snow stays away here so I can get out to the job and back safely. All clear at the moment!

One of the best new years memory's I have is when there was bad weather that knocked out the power and we ended up all huddled in the kitchen mulling wine on the Aga.

One of the best new years memory's I have is when there was bad weather that knocked out the power and we ended up all huddled in the kitchen mulling wine on the Aga.

We had one like that about 12 years or so ago. A Hogmanay storm blew the roof off the local pub, right into the electricity sub-station leaving us without power until around 3PM on Ne'erday. Boiling the kettle on the camping stove huddled round the gas fire - magic.
