I realise this may not be kosher, but in the interest of getting some good information, I have chosen to use your brains.

My Daughter Married last month in Scotland and toured for three weeks writing a blog as they went on there way. Not wishing to sound partisan, but it is just wonderful reading, with some photo's and I would like to commit the blog to a hard copy album/book.

Do any of the crew know how I could do this, I would like to be able to give the blog site to someone and just say, There you are book it for me:).

Hoping you may be able to help, or other suggestions very welcome.

Thanks Guys and Gals

Might depend on which Blog site she used.

There are a fair number of them about Blogspot (which I use and ned to update) Wordpress, Tumbler to name but a few. I have used my blog pages to update my work book when doing the photography courses. From blogspot I have just hit the print button form the web browser and it kind of works. However if you can down load the pages then put them into Word etc then you can sort the formatting out and it can be printed a little better.

As for a Book yes there are a few around like Blurb, Snap Fish? and others that (I think ) have book templates you can down load, then construct a book from that. It can be time consuming to do one, but good fun as well (again I did one a few years ago for a photo project and used Blurb).

If you have Apple then you could use the book templates in iPhoto which are quite good.

I did try and use Blurb to produce a book of poetry and photos (I know, its a bit arty farty and it was also crap) and they had a very large selection of styles to choose from. If I remember rightly I just copied and pasted from a word document and then chose the font, size etc to fit the theme. Fairly straight forward.

Thank you both for the information, it gives me a great start.

Blurb supports direct access to blog text, images, comments and even link from Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad and WordPress.

Next time someone asks "How can I print my blog?" send them to Blog2Print. With a couple of clicks, you choose a cover, the posts you'd like to include, and you're on your way to creating your own blog book! Blog2Print can turn your Blogger, WordPress (hosted and self-hosted), and Typepad blog into your own printed book.

Also, interesting discussion on Matt Cutts' blog.

Then you and I have found that it is on Blog spot.
