skindred are awesome, photographed them a couple of times about 5 years ago, music is awesome

id say download, i wont be going but bands id like to see (or have seen before)

skindred
36 crazyfists
wildhearts
antiflag
less than jake
bowling for soup.

really dont think id enjoy going to download though, not really my type of festival, i hope the lineup for kendal calling or one of the smaller festivals is good this year!

Im seeing Skindred for free at the local music venue place. I have contacts :)

My mate who is a light/backstage techie who I used to do a paper round with, was saying to me anytime you wanna go to a gig, just ask, and I will pop you onto the guestlist :)

One regret I have is never going to the Download festival (or Donnington festival as it was once known) before I left the UK. I could have gone in the late 80's (yeah... I'm old :p ) but I had no-one to go with as all of my mates were into rubbish like Bros :(

I would say Download. Having seen Metallica and AC/DC on tour last year, there is no argument :D. Also with QOTSA, Mastodon & Slayer, this nails it.

Enjoy Download.

Oh my goodness...I hadn't seen the lineup for Download before this thread. SO many good bands I want to see!! Too many festivals I want to go to, and not enough money! :'(

I went to Sonisphere last year (I won 2 weekend camping tickets to it :D) and it was amazing! Your choice will obviously be dependant on the lineup, but Sonisphere was very well organised, loads of things to do/see, and the toilets were surprisingly alright even after a few days!

What about.....

Metallica
Slayer
Megadeth
Anthrax

..in Europe !

Some top poster on the download forums had posted it up. Im just guessing

This is at the sonisphere, not Download:
Metallica
Slayer
Megadeth
Anthrax
