Blazin' Squad - Release Week :)

I'm chuffed for you mate. I think as we go through life one of things we really hope for is that our kids do better than we did and also enjoy themselves.
I'm sitting here listening to King Crimson (kinda dates me that doesn't it) and I thought that I bet my parents generation moaned about KC and Floyd etc but they still sell so who knows what people will think about todays music in 20/30 years time.
I watched the vid expecting to hate it, but I didn't, its good and its professional and I'm sure it will do well.

Andy I'm very grateful for your comments - a lot of folk have preconceptions about Blazin' and, having lived with it for nigh on 8 years, I know most of those preconceptions are wrong :) (yes I know I'm biased :))

Glad you liked it! Now we wait until next week and see how it sells :)

Just wanted to say thanks for the all support you folks have given on here :)

The youtube vid has now had over 418,000 views

I have 15 copies of the single here on preorder from HMV :D

And its goooood :D

(it would be a great double whammy if the single did well as April, James sister, has just found out she's graduated with a 2:1 in Architecture :D)

So fingers x'd! :D
 
At close of play yesterday it was #44 in the iTunes chart which, for a song which has had virtually no radio support, is bloody good :)

Hopefully as the week progresses it'll climb further! :D
 
I'm not surprised it's doing so well John. I've played it a few times and the more I do the more I like it :D I also know a certain someone will be wearing her copy out by now! :lol:
 
Well the results in and they're mixed :)

A poorish showing in the UK charts at 51 (considering they had no airplay support whatsoever then its a little more understandable)

However in the BBCs Indie chart they went straight in at no. 2 and in at no. 12 in the R&B chart

Those last two almost make up for the lower position in the main chart

The lads aren't discouraged, the 2nd single is in the bag and they just need to get it out there :)

And of course....its good :D

Thanks again to any of you folk who bought it and for your support over the last few months :)

...and its still available on Itunes or via HMV etc etc :D
