The "definitive", Ridley Scott cut of this sci-fi classic is due out soon, Play.com say. I have signed up to be informed and put my name down to order. Can't wait.

Think I'll have this for my collection :) thanks for the headsup

I've only ever seen the DVD directors cut of this, which I'm told has a significantly different ending to the original theatrical release - d'ya think this version will have the theatrical ending, too?

Ive seen things you people wouldnt believe .... I've watched sea beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate!

Wooooooooooo!!!!

My all time favourite movie, thanx for that!

Rutger Hauers finest errr..hour

Odd ? I've just looked it up on play.com and it sounds exactly like the drector's cut I've had for years.

Ahh I've just seen Blade Runner: The Final Cut on play is that what you were referring too ?

You know I've still not seen this?

(And Star Wars..all 6 of them)

Yes, you may flog me with a flogging thing, I'm bad.

And I seem to remember he was pretty fine himself back then
Only older man I ever took a fancy to ... ooh tmi!
usually go for the younger man eh Glo? Have you met jonny....:p

Ridley Scott was on the radio today talking about this. Another of my favourite films :)

Tut! I cant believe that! :shake:
Right, where's that flogging thing!

usually go for the younger man eh Glo? Have you met jonny....:p
Ha! ha! Matty ... welll you cant help but look at the pretty things in life can you but, as someone said to me the other day .... 'I have a pair of boots older than that'

:suspect:

I've never managed to sit down and watch all that film, it's never really floated my boat so as to speak.

And Rutger's finest work was on Guiness adverts. :D

What! you mean you didnt enjoy seeing Zhora running through plate glass windows in nowt but thigh boots and seethru plastic mac?
Or watching Daryl Hannah with her thighs wrapped around the throat of Harrison Ford?
Tut! tut! what kind of a man are you DF!

I couldn't possibly answer that in open forum Glo !!!!

Maybe i'm not deranged enough to have understood the plot.

How many think Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford's character) was a replicant and Gaff (James Edward Olmos) was the true "Bladerunner"?

In the beginning of the movie they say six replicants escaped but only show five. One got fried before the story actually starts so that would leave Roy, Priss, Zhora and Leon. Is Deckard the sixth replicant who was caught early on and reprogrammed then set on the others whilst controlled by Gaff?

I don't have anything else to do. There is less than 5000 people on this little island I live on.

Never mind the plot when is the DVD coming out? BTW This is now the most anticipated DVD taking over from PF Pulse which thankfully came out this year
When can I chuck my "stereo" Blade Runner DVD away?
Paul

Yep, that's it. Apparently Scott was less than satisfied with the previous issues and the sound quality was poor. The second issue was, after all, effectively the same as the first but without Harrison Ford's talkover (or whatever you call it).
