I have a BB Bold too - wish I'd have got an Iphone now though 
Depends what kind of stuff you want, I guess. My most used app is Facebook, followed by Google and Shazam. There aren't that many good free ones that I've found, but if you're willing to splash some cash, then there are some good ones to be had. You can to staight to the BB apps page from your phone.
