Black vinyl background. Anyone use one?

Looking at buying a black vinyl background (rather than using paper).

Has anyone purchased one? If so, what did you buy and is the backdrop 100% crease free?

Why would you want to?
I've never seen a vinyl (or come to that, paper) background that isn't shiny to some extent and black backgrounds don't work if they reflect light.

That's why black velvet is the best material (but very expensive) and why most people use black cotton, which also does a good job
 
Hmm, I've just bought a piece of black A3 cardboard from WHSmith to try as a black background - never thought about using black cotton instead. Will have to go and have a look at the local market I think.
 
Reflection is not an issue that concerns me for the application I have in mind.
