Black Rapid RS4, RS5 or RS7...personal preference or is there a clear choice?

RS4...has little storage for money, credit cards, cell phone, memory cards.

RS5...has more storage, but seems bulky and awkward from the pictures.

RS7...you can buy storage (not cheap) and you have a snap that's not present in the other two models that could be a weak link???

Thoughts?
TIA

RS7 is slightly curved. The snap in allows you to add extra length to the strap (I have done this but I'm 6' 8" and a bit padded and only just needed the extra). You can buy a BUCK cover for the buckle which threads through the buckle and covers it so it stops the buckle from undoing or anyone being able to undo it whilst out and about.

I got the RS7 from Amazon a couple of weeks ago for £44 and can not recomend it highly enough. I find the slight curve in the shape fits slightly better than the RS4 that I borrowed for a day.

Have had my rs4 for 5 months now and wish I had got one sooner. so much better than normal strap. my son even sneaked my rs4 out of house when he went away for weekend, to use on his camera.

I ordered the RS7 off Amazon the other day for £43. Waiting for it to come through :)

Any experience of using the FastenR-T1?

I like the look of these but I hate the idea of having to keep changing straps or unscrewing and screwing in faceplate to set on a tripod.

I've had my RS-7 for a couple of months now and absolutely love it. When I take the kids out for a walk with the dog I can happily have my D7000 with 70-200 VRII attached slung over my shoulder and not be at all inconvenienced.....that's why it's worth every penny. With a traditional strap I wouldn't dream of doing that.

Can I ask which accessories people are buying with their RS-7's?

I am looking to get one, and wondering which other bits to get.

A BUCK and I've just ordered a BRAD. Will see what that's like when it arrives (hopefully today :))

+1 for the RS-7,i also won't be going conventional again.....does anyone know if they make an add on that will hold an iphone?

Just got my BRAD. A bit pricey at £17, but makes such a difference as the strap no longer rides up towards the neck.

What about the RS-Sport? any idea?
As long as you don't need to be able to extend the strap (I did as I'm 6ft 8" and a bit padded), it looks great :)

Thought I bought a 7 but might be a 4, holds two memory cards in the strap. By far the best accessory I have. Just got back from 9 days on holiday and if I would have still ha a conventional strap I wouldn't enjoyed the experience nearly as much.

The BUCK is a good "mod" to get for the RS-7 as just gives a bit of reassurance that someone behind you would not be able to release the q/r buckle (and potentially grab your now released camera!).

It's basically just a velcro cover that wraps round the buckle. It's well designed as I have tried releasing the buckle with the thing wrapped round it, and because it loops through the buckle it keeps the strap "closed" even with the buckle released.

I love my RS-7. I like being able to have the pack on it to carry my phone when needed and remove it when not needed. Great strap - carry my camera around much more now.

FYI - you can JUST about get a blackberry torch in its leather case in to the holder that comes with the rs-7.

Just had the RS-7 delivered form Amoxon £45, looks great....
Just gotta wait till my camera come's back from Nikon :( before I test it
