For annoying (female) friends who keep posting lame motivational posters, you can drop down the little arrow to the right of the message and do "Unfollow xyz". All is good. But when you try to do that on annoying ads from pages you've never subscribed to in the first place you just get a little "progress" bar that never stops. So you cant unfollow. Is there a way round this?

Thanks

Isn't that how Facebook is funded though, through advertising

Unless it becomes a subscription service then i fear it's something we will all have to live with

I use it and like it. Once you customise it to get rid of all the nonsense you don't want, it's o.k. I do think it's funny when people complain about it when it is free to use.

Either use it or don't. It's that simple.

Steve.

I personally DON'T use Facebook ;)

Custom filters, exception rules, add filter. It saves on pressing enter. Leave the other filters in place.
