I sent the supplier a message on Sunday and he contacted me today. He has offered me a replacement or a refund.

That's good service. I sent the camera back gauranteed next day delivery so I'm hoping I'll have the replacement by the weekend.

Yeah, Amazon were good with my Canon 400D. I got a quick replacement and I noticed that they'd re-credited my card with the cost of me returning goods within about 2 days. Despite the fact that they don't know much about the goods which they are selling, I've found Amazon to be one of the best companies when it comes to sorting out problems relating to faulty goods.
