Yes
Took the car to the garage today for a service. Camera in hand, D700 plus Industar 50mm. I've been shooting film for the last few weeks and ... Quick snap of the new cafe and then tried to wind on the film that doesn't exist on a digital camera.

Well the last time I wanted to use my digi compact the battery was flat.

This is what happens when you get into bad company! [emoji38]

Wait till I get him swept under a darkcloth with a LF film camera....... side effects include finding oneself sat outside a French café playing an accordion lol

I miss the winder, very satisfying.
If I made a digital it would have one. It would insert a marker frame. End of set, potential keeper, etc etc.

In a beret with bicycle and onion strings parked nearby. :naughty:

Haha I feel your pain, I drive a car with it's handbrake on the right, I've lost count of the amount of times whilst driving the wifes car I've come to a stop and started fishing for a lever that isn't there.

I do the opposite - take a film pic then look on the back for the pic :angelic:

Using a film camera I used to get that at first when shooting my grand children when they rushed to look at the camera to see the shots...now they are not interested in my shots if they can't see them straight away. :(

I remember when indicator and windscreen wiper control stalk positions were standardised, which for a lot of people meant the indicator stalk was on the other side of the steering wheel when they bought a new car... you'd never seen such clean windscreens, they were getting wiped literally at every turn! Well, apart from on BMWs and Audis! ;)

This reminds me of driving a left-hand-drive car for the first time many years ago. I would try and change gear with the window winder handle - it didn't work.
