Bit of a strange one.

I want to mount some SB 600s on banksticks, the type anglers use, anyone know the standard thread size of bankstick heads and anyone know where I can get the necessary double threaded bolts to enable me to do this?

I think the bank sticks are 3/8ths. Can anyone confirm this?

So I need an connecter that screws into the 3/8ths thread on the stick one end and the 1/4 for the flash gun. Anyone know if these are available?

3/8ths BSF apparently, suspect you're going to have to roll your own adapter though at that size unless a UNF is close enough.

edit: BSF is nothing like anything common so really will need BSF.

I suppose I could get a reducer to drop the 3/8ths to 1/4 and then make some threaded bar up..............

If it was me I'd get a 3/8BSF setscrew and a 1/4BSW set screw (cut down if needed) and put a spot weld or 2 on them to joint them. Touch of matt black paint and you're done. Would cost under a tenner for enough parts to make a half dozen or so.

That will be 3/8BSW which won't fit the BSF bank stick.
