Biscuits

How has nobody mentioned the daddy of biscuits?

The German engineered Choco Leibniz, dark of course. With a strong coffee. Wunderbar!

As a kid when I went to my Grans, caramel wafers & chocolate marshmallow teacakes were usually on offer.

Having a long hard think, I reckon my favourite of all time though was ..... the Farley's rusk. :dummy::sleep:

Tunnocks? :-)

Choco Leibniz Dark to be sure!!

One biscuit that has weirdly gone awol in the past year, not to be found anywhere other than at an exorbitant cost on Amazon, is the good old coconut ring. Here in Bucks we have one of each of all the well known supermarkets and nobody stocks coconut rings anymore. Why the hell not, for goodness' sake? Has there been a government health warning about them that I managed to miss?

Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda all do their own Coconut Rings, Iceland carry Crawford's version, and Asda + Morrison's here carry Mcvities Tasties, which are......coconut rings. :-)

Where on earth do you live?

Duplicate post.

Proper Garibaldis - aka squashed flies :D

Thanks viv1969, we'll have to have yet another trawl through these stores. We were only in Sainsbury's this morning and once again .. no coconut rings!

Granddaughter is coming over for Christmas, think i'll ask her to bring a few packs. ;)

Smart move.
I'm not a biscuit fan, but a Tim tam with ice cold milk...mmmmmm :)

Yaaay

I used to like those too (not had any for years though)

Haha, everything the fault of Brexit :D

`Rivington, owned by Dutch company Van Delft, said it had already made a loss of more than £300,000 last year, but said this spiralled after the referendum, compounded by the currency movements.`

It's a wafer, get over it....other people make them.
And stop using daft new "trendy" words. :p

Mmmm Tim Tams, nip opposite corners off dunk one end in tea or coffee and suck until the hot fluid hits your tongue and shove the whole thing in your mouth in one go.....loverly
Yum!!

Hmm. Ouma (Grandmother) rusks are popular with coffee in South Africa, particularly amongst Afrikaans people. I have no Afrikaner genes, as far as I know, but I love them! :D

I can take or leave biscuits which I've thankful about or I'd be even fatter! I do like A choc hobnob if someone offers though.

caramel milk chocolate digestives

if you fold them in half they don't break and you can fit the whole thing in your gob in one go without getting broken biscuit bits & crumbs all over the gaff..:D

What about those biscuits with a little cow, I like them. Children like them:agree:

Surely, if you fold them in half, they're already broken. o_O

caramel....hinge, broken, but not detached
I think they're also slightly smaller than a standard digestive and thus fit the more moderately proportioned mush.....like mine....

I would say it was taking manscaping a step or two too far!

Nothing wrong with teabagging...

Cornish Fairings for dunking
Bourbons for general eating

Costa do a big and I mean big Bourbon and a Custard Cream. I see them when sister treats me to a posh drinking choc and she a capa'whatsit.
Elliott give something else up and get stuck into the biscuits.:D

They look great - but are nothing like the actual biscuits sadly...

Chocolate biscuits... mmmm you just can't have enough. Maybe a few ginger nuts thrown in too!
