Today I park up and in less than an hour my gleaming car had been used by diarrhoea-filled seagulls for target practice. It was only my car that had been bombed. There were cars parked either side, but they were untouched.
So, I pay some nice Bulgarians to clean it. I collect it an hour later and it is shining as new!
I return to work, careful to park in a different place, hopeful that all will be ok.
A couple of hours later, one huge pile of cack on the bonnet (now I am doubting that ostriches can't fly) and one on the rear window. I check the cars either side. Neither had a mark on it!!!
Do, certain colours represent avian toilets? It's a serious question. Does colour of car impact on the probability of being bombed?

I remember reading about dark coloured cars looking like bodies of water which is where birds poo over so as to hide their scent/trail. Not sure if it's true. I know on detailingworld it appears all cars are struck irrespective of colour.

My white and latterly silver van, were largely untouched,
even though it was parked very close to my red car.
Which they seemed to delight in pebble-dashing.
Even more so after they had been eating black berries.

Richard, you are a nikon user, seagulls target us, ask Cobra he has the picture :(

A lot of birds lighten their load at take-off. Being relatively close to the coast, we get gulls flying over but can't say I've noticed either car getting crapped on more than the other!

My car is parked under the power lines to the house, so I'm victim of all the little song birds and a big fat pidgeon. Used to have a problem at work with a certain seagull eating his lunch on the bonnet and scratching it to buggery! Same seagull used to sit in the bed of my boss' truck and peck it's own reflection too! (going way OT that seagull was clever as hell, it'd sit on the wall next to the meat man's delivery truck and wait for him to go in the shop, then raid the van, once came out the back door just in time to see the Seagull making a hasty exit with a pack of bacon and the meat man chasing after it!)

There's some clever birds about I think it was a seagull a few years ago that was going into a shop and stealing a packet of crisps on a regular basis

Greedy flying rats ! At Whitby a few weeks back one landed feet first in my open fish n chips that I was holding, copped a huge mouthful and then flew off in a blink of an eye.

My wife had her ice cream nicked by a gull a few years back. It's usually me though.

That nicks her ice cream, not that has his ice cream nicked!!!
