I can't seem to find anything on google to tell me if this is a bad thing or not. The system is crashing quite a lot and won't shut down unless the laptops power button is pressed and held.

it seems to be something related to the hotkeys on a laptop (i.e. you might have a couple of preset keys for launching specific programs). if youre not using them then id say uninstall it.

i wouldnt say that would cause the graphic issue though. that looks more like data corruption (holding the power button down is a quick and easy way to kill data and/or a hard drive).

Thanks Neil, I have no idea what those programmes would be, I don't have anything running from the press of a key. When I have to press and hold the power button, the laptop will have stuck on the current screen and won't respond, no matter how long I leave it, This is the 3rd hdd in this which were replaced under it's warrenty which has now expired.

I also keep getting messages stating I am low on memory and need to close programmes as well.
