I've got two on my bookshelf, both of which I would recommend:
The Bang-Bang Club: Snapshots from a Hidden War by Greg Marinovich and Joao Silva. This looks at a loose group of four or so photographers covering the last years of apartheid in South Africa.
Unreasonable Behaviour: An Autobiography by Don McCullin. Don tells his story from growing up in London through his days as an acclaimed photojournalist.
Another one that was met with positive coverage when it was published last year but which I've yet to read is It's What I Do: A Photographer's Life of Love and War by Lynsey Addario.
Any suggestions/recommendations for other ones we should check out? Any by non-war photographers?
