Redcorating lounge and decided to put a fireplace in (wont be an expensive one, £200-£350 range). Was looking at an electric one, more for looks than as a source of heat, bit tempted by the real flame of bio ethanol, anyone got one and how do you rate it?
Will need to remove some of the skirting board this weekend due to new carpet going down on Monday, problem is that the wall has been wallpapered recently!) Having googled it it looks like the best way is to use a dremel to make 2 vertical cuts then chisel away (I am certain it is stuck on and seems pretty strong). Is it as simple as that and any tips to prevent chunks of plasterboard and wallpaper coming with it? This is the preferred one - https://www.fireplaceworld.co.uk/pa...ado-bio-ethanol-fire-in-brushed-steel-39-inch
