Binocular reviews

I'm after a new pair of binoculars, but I'm struggling to find any decent reviews or guides. Jessops' features tab is quite useful as it guides you to they are suitable for.

What I'm after;

Price: under £100
Main Use: motorsport/birdwatching/general use/hiking/astronomy
Size: relatively small/lightweight

The most suited so far I've found are these.

Nikon Action VII 10x40 The only thing that puts me off is the size of them.

Bushnell 8x42 H20

Bushnell 8x36 Excursion

Has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations please?

For astronomical uses you'd probably want at least 10x50

I think you're right I think size/weight is more important, over astronomy use. Thanks

10x50 is tempting for the reach but you'll struggle to hold them still.
