My mums mothers day pressie from all of us since we aren't rich enough (not with photography and fishkeeping as a hobby for me any way lol) for anything too fancy, just a nice bunch of tulips :)

Some pictures form today coming...... probably Tuesday, been doing art exam stuff ALL day and had a bit of a er... how do I put it... bad... but turned out not bad day... well.
I dropped my camera on a hard floor..... when i picked it up and shuck it,i herd glass moving around. I was pretty pee'd off with my self and pretty upset since I need the camera for my art exam tomorrow and I love photography, and didn't want to wait to get a new camera :( gutted..
BUT after showing it to my bro we set about trying to get the cap of, i remember the UV filter unscrewed of, after unscrewing it, I found.. to my disbelief, and my utter delight, that only the UV filter was broken!! the lens is fine!!! I am/was sooooo relieved!! Don;t care about the filter, so glad the camera is ok. The cap was bent in tot he filter, and it the filter cracking along with that must of took enough impact away not to smash the lens, and surprisingly there are no obvious scratches on there! taught me a lesson, and I hope any one who doesn't have a UV lens get one!!

(sunday)
I spent most of Sunday working with chicken wire shaping my base for my 'foodscape' (mini landscape made of food, then photographed) took ages to do all i need to. I am now half way in to the exam, and all is going well i think

right, catchup , reason i have been late uploading and day 167 is a bit pants is because I have been doing my GCSE art exam, which involved my camera, photoshop and all things I love much more then paints and pencils :D I did a Carl Warner inspired landscape, I wish i could post it here as I am very happy with it, but I won't be able to until August, or maybe a little earlier when I get my results.

quick one which i took in the rushed morning of monday, when I was takeing lots of stuff to school for art including the pre-made chicken wire set, a borrowed studio light, materials, laptop, camera etc, lots to haul in to school!

couldn't think of anything to do for todays shot, but saw something similar to this done on fluidr.com and the first thing I came to that was round, my cameras lens cap.
So I went with the idea of 'I love photography' :)
(pictured is my filter cap sat on photoshop CS3 book and the behind writing is on a binder of outdoor photography mags which I have borrowed from a friend)

My new seahare! Hes like a slug type thing who I am employing to eat algae out of my tank! I am going through a hair algae spike, and need something to help me take care of it, and this little hoover (hence the name) should eat it all up! and then i will take him back to the aquatics, as really I am only renting him :D
Like renting a cow to mow your lawn lol

(Saturdays) no lambs unfortunately, and their won't be any at this farm. But I may be able to get up to my Aunts farm sometime, as she wanted a pro photographer to come and get some pictures but the prices are very very expensive, so I may be their much cheaper substitute, and they have lambs :D but still yet to be organised

This is made of two images, one with a slower exposure to make a blur, I put the two as layers on the same image and put the opacity to 50%, then I used layer mask to only show one blue flower, but left a bit of the stem just because :p
Not the best quality as was took in low light, think i may do a re-shoot tomorrow :)
