Hi all,

I wonder if someone with this bag will let me know if it would fit the following or alternatively post up a pic of the bag with their kit inside... every picture on the interweb is of the bag looking great but I need to see what it'll fit! lol

I have

Nikon FM2n
Nikon 85mm 1.4
Nikon 50mm 1.4
Nikon 28mm 3.5

and ideally i'd like to squeeze a 13" macbook in or an iPad.

I'm currently carrying a 5dmk2 with 50/1.4, 24/1.4 and 70-200/2.8 all with hoods. It's a squeeze but ok. I have carried an 85/1.2 instead of the zoom too. I'm not sure how your gear compares to mine but I find the bag fine for three lenses. The problem can be the hoods which can be a bit tight.

Cheers Ian,

do you think a 13" macbook would fit inside the bag?

I've not tried carrying a computer too but I think it would be a tight squeeze. The rear zipped compartment isn't the right size for a A4 piece of paper so I think a 13 inch laptop would struggle.

I have bought the same bag last month to take on a trip away.
I got alot of kit in it,
Nikon D7000
Nikon 70-300
Nikon 105 macro
Nikon 18-200
Nikon 50
MDB Grip
Acer Aspire One netbook
A few bits and bats
It was a squeeze but all fitted in, but it was far to heavy !
Ended up just taking D7000, 18-200 & 50mm
Netbook
Charger etc. and still plenty of room for more bits and bats & a lot lighter to carry !
As for your ipad or macbook it wont fit in the zipped section of the bag,
I bought this Aspire One before the bag (10.1 screen) when the bag arrived no way will it fit in the zipped bit.
Then I realised it's not supposed too
I should go between the moulded green insert in the main bag and it fits a treat there
This leaves the zipped area free for all my travel documents etc.

PS
I don't think a 13inch laptop would fit, is the bag not only 12 inch wide ?
Can't measure mine at the moment as I don't have a tape measure and I'm away on holiday with it.

Here's what I usually put in my Hadley Pro:

Rolleiflex 3.5B
Leica M4 + 35/2
Hexar AF
35/1.2
50/1.5
Lots of film

Your Nikon setup should fit nicely, it'll take a 13" MPB behind the padding as well.

I use mine as a carry-on bag when travelling; small camera (X100 or X10), MacBook Air or iPad, Kindle and other bits and pieces. It came into its own on a trip to Egypt which involved lots of 'on the bus, off the bus' when visiting antiquities.

Also a great size for short-haul flights; I always seem to get to my seat to find that those around me have filled the overhead lockers with baggage - the Hadley can go under the seat or on my knee without causing any problems.

Is your D700 gripped? Just wondering whether my gripped D300 would fit.

Cheers
Aled

I do have a grip, but I rarely use it. The camera will definitely fit with the grip on in the bag, you'd just probably have to leave lots of the stuff out of the bag tho.
