Biggest photo sin?

I couldn't be arsed to read most of this thread, but...

Has anyone noticed Grave Robbers pics have disappeared?

Have some teddies been taken home or what?

Pick your jumpers up, the goal posts are back where they were ;)

Coffee anyone, just putting the kettle on :D

Grave Digger, dont beat yourself up about your thread, at the end of the day everyone has opinion and if it was shared this place would suck balls

chin up :)

Why exactly ?

whats that word erm ... trolling ?

Is that why he got kicked,

that is crazy i think mine is like 2 or somethin

gary yours is 16.08

you could do better!

post a little bit of spam ... or rant... or both like this

Whos is the highest behind Grave Digger's ?

I post any picture I do that I like. If you like them, fine. If you don't like them, that's fine too.

There is no sin.

here' some food for thought or fuel on the fire what ever way you want to look at it.

I've just got back from a weekends photography tuition and the guy teaching said to me that one of the biggest differences between pros and amatures is how sharp the images are, and what amatures will accept as being sharp.
The perfect description of the difference I think. I couldn't agree more.

Soz, but I have to (sometimes) disagree with this

In camera club circles it's common for everyone to want everything to be sharp - whereas the 'Pro' attitude is that so long as the bit that's meant to be sharp actually is, the rest doesn't matter

Consequently, some 'Pro' images are marked DOWN for not being sharp enough

Odd innit

Phewph!! Been watching this thread from the start, and it annoyed my right away. Glad to see the OP banned. I had already clocked his posts per day, yesterday, and have been building up to writing a rant, er, I mean, response, tonight, but now it seems I don't have to :D

Thing is though, quite a lot of people rose to the bait...
:nono:

Nothing has changed - the situation here is as it always was - no-one needs to be afraid to post images on the board, and thankfully we still have plenty of members only too happy to help with gentle prods in the right direction, but above all - constructive, practical, helpful advice and encouragement!

We don't do discouragement here. Keep those images coming! ;)

I live in my own little bubble on Planet Alison and understand nothing about message board politics or life in general for that matter. I neither know nor care what spamming or trolling are or what it takes to get banned. This seems like a decent place so I'm sure if it's going to happen to me I'll get a warning beforehand.

I'm guilty of all the photographic sins mentioned but can really see from my admittedly limited progress that the C + C requested and proferred have helped me enormously. Not only that, but I've learnt so much from other people's pics. Some are just so impressive and that inspires me to achieve. Others which I'm less impressed by are just as valid in that they provoke thought in terms of what could have been done to improve them.

Don't worry Alison, it's actually pretty difficult to get banned from here - you have to be really going for it. ;)

Yeah you have to be more rude, cheeky, irritating and er naughty than the site staff and that take some doing ;)
