To begin I just want to state that I really don't want this thread turning into a debate about the rights/wrongs/legalities/responsibilities of buying Grey Imports (as every other thread seems to).
Now that's out the the way, I just have to commend Panamoz on how they dealt with a situation that arose recently. Essentially I discovered that my camera which was purchased from them about 5 months ago had a mismatched serial number (serial in exif and on the body were different). Now I understand that this happens sometimes when dealing with Grey Imports, so I fired them off an email asking if they could resolve this. I was able to return the camera, and I have received a brand new one in return. Whatever your opinions on Grey Imports / Panamoz themselves, that is simply undeniably simply fantastic customer service. I have returned a D600 to them before due to the oil splatter issue after 3 months for an exchange, without a quibble.
So as stated, I get that people have strong opinions about this, but for those of you who are thinking about going down the "Grey" path (and there are many I'm sure), I simply couldn't recommend Panamoz enough!
