Hey guys,
I have my Graded Unit final year project coming up in a weeks time and I need to think of a solid idea. So far I have an idea that needs some loose ends tied up and it goes something like this;
I want to photograph objects of older technology that are now pretty much unused in the world of today but weren't looking out of place 10-20yrs ago. I must shoot 15 images for submission which means 15 objects, so far I have a list of 13 (unlucky number) and the list is this;
Alarm Clock
Analogue Calculator
Original Gameboy
Black & White T.V
Video Tape Player
Cassette Walkman
Record Turntable
Ring Dial Phone
Old Computer
Analogue Radio
Film Camera
Video Camera
Book (e-books replacing?)
Idea behind it would be some form of advertising campaign about technology and everything would be shot on location but treated like a studio with my lighting.
Examples of what I have so far;
1.Analogue Calculator with some Algebra and using the analogue thing to work out the answer.
2.Black & White T.V plugged into an Xbox 360.
3. Cassette Player with a CD rammed in it.
4. Book with usb attached (photoshopped a bit) to a laptop or PC.
I am looking for any suggestions on other objects I could shoot and most importantly ideas for the objects listed?
Would help me out big time!
Will also keep this thread updated with my progress throughout the project which, if all goes to plan I can start next weekend!
