I've had a few people now asking me if they can buy prints of the image below. Usually I print off myself on one of the dye-subs, but the largest I can print myself is 8x10, so I was looking at sourcing somewhere inexpensive but fairly decent quality online to get a few fired off.

Can anyone recommend somebody specifically (somebody you've purchased from yourself, not just read reviews of) before I start hitting up Google?

I can see why they'd want it printed up big
looks good!

no personal experience but try LeeP at togsprint.co.uk (member here)

duplicate post?!?!?

Dscl get's my vote, good quality and price with a very fast turnaround time.

cheers

Darren

I got huge prints from Photobox a few months ago and they were superb.

Edit: Look at that, Photobox is auto linked! Good work TP!

I've used Togsprint for most of the large print's ive had, and they've all been spot on. Pretty much every other online place i've used have had some problem or other. For paying jobs I use them - end of story.

I have used Dscl a lot last year and was always happy.
Very fast turnaround and good quality.

I got some 30in x 20in from Photobox done - about £11 each I think. Outstanding quality.

Well, there seems to be a lot of people recommending PhotoBox, so I've sent them a quick E-Mail with a couple of questions. As soon as I hear back from them I'll give them a go (they seemed to have the best prices on 30"x20" by a couple of quid too).

Those of you who have had 30"x20" prints from them, did you upsample the image to 9000x6000 yourself for 300dpi printing? Or did you just send them an image and they did it for you? What colour profile did you use? sRGB?

Not used them myself, but I have just been reading a thread raving about Aldis online print service.Good quality, price and quick service.Could be worth a try.

I just sent the processed JPEG and they did the rest. At the time the price was £9.99 each (I think) but it was at a time when they did BOGOF so mega bargain.
I used sRGB

I brought some A3 poster prints from photobox for less than £7 each and they were better than i had hoped they would be.
Worth getting one done at that price and see what you think before ordering more

I had some 20 * 30 done at Tesco for £5 each (half price offer ) and was impressed, I think the offer is on again!

From a 200mb PSD file I produced a jpg just under their upload limit of 10mb, 4638x2912. sRGB.

A bit late to the party, but heartily recommend dscl

Just one point with DSCL online ordering - if you order smaller prints (up to 12 x 18 IIRC) and larger prints together you have to do 2 separate orders and you incur 2 separate postal charges!

I am no longer using them because of this.
