Reading Half Marathon

Hi there, I recently ran the Reading Half Marathon in a 13 foot 3 stone big pink Nurse to raise money and aware ness for the charity well child.

I was wondering did any body manage to take any photos which I would be able use on my just giving web site.

Yes, I have - if I recall correctly - three images of you (although I could be wrong). Congratulations on completing it!

I shall try and dig them out when I get home, but I'm mad busy most of this week in the evenings, so no promises. I'll put them onto my webspace for you to download, and let you know the address. I'm afraid none of them are wonderful images, but I think at least one of them ought to be good enough for you to use :)

Well, it's not every day you see a giant, pink nurse running past you ... I had to get some shots :D
 
Looks like you were standing just next to me 'n me friend, Icecavern! Would've said 'ello if I'd known you were a TP person :D

Don't suppose one of you had a 70-200 ( or similar ) and was using a monopod?

I was stood on the exit to the bend n the road there. Couldn't miss me I had both cameras with me and the billingham full up :D

We both had a 70-200 - Martin had the f2.8 on a monopod but I have the f4 handheld and a 400 f5.6 on a monopod - I was up at the traffic island and Martin was down on the left just in front of the last watering area

Which Billingham do you have?

Think I saw you, but my photographic memory is very poor (pun intended), so I can't exactly remember lol.
 
Might go for the Cap ... not sure about the T-Shirt!

Hi Adrian, I have a 550 which is big enough to carry most of my kit if I need to.

Errr about the T-shirts. Being of errrr more cuddley proportions :D I probably need a tent rather than a T-shirt

Looks like I'll be running the London Marathon in my big pink Nurse so if any of your guys are around give us a shout.....

I would go for a cap for sure! would make it very easy to find people from the forum very easy :D

Tis abit worrying to think people could have loads of pictures of you without you know :lol:

I think someone wearing a 13-foot-high pink nurse's costume might expect to be noticed? ;)
 
I saw u on the tv too! I wondered if it was the same person who did the Reading half marathon! Brave man :thumbs: how did u get on? :)
 
Had a really good day. Managed it in 5hrs 40 mins. Not bad I thought considering the rain and winds.

Just looking for some photos now.
