So, I've booked a 4 day trip in the Cairngorms. I have my new Fuji gear and I love wildlife photography.
3 weeks or so ago I hired a 100-400 & 1.4 EX for the trip. My new X-T2 is here, and I'm all excited. Then it happens, the email that says "your delivery has been delayed" (or words to that effect). Oh "****, I leave first thing tomorrow, and we've booked a guide for a couple of days so we can shoot some wildlife.
One of the two parcels as been misrouted, it looks like it's the 1.4EX, but I'm thinking even 400mm won't get me Snow Buntings & Bearded Tits, and probably not Mountain Hares either. Then there's the trip to Minsmere on the way back.....
I call Lenses For Hire and explain. Friday is no good, we're leaving at 10.00 in the morning. "Leave it with us, we'll get it sorted" says the lady.
And sort it they did. So, @StewartR, a big thank you to you & your team. Excellent service as usual (and it's been a while since I've used your services to be fair). Stewart, can you thank the lady please, she was so helpful. Unlike my buddy in the office who said "it's just a lens".. Jeez, I don't get get up to the NW of Scotland every day !
