Anybody got any idea where I can buy big 6m x 6m cloth backgrounds?

I know I could stitch two 3m x 6m together, but I'm trying to get the hand dyed mottled effect ones, and getting two to match exactly is unlikely.

Any ideas?
Thanks:)

Won't the 6m x 6m thing have something to do with the size of the loom machines. You could try and find a curtain manufacturer for details on such matters. The curtains at a theatre are huge but I bet they are stitched together.

Sounds like a good project Mark, does it involve your equestrian shooting?

You may well be right on the loom size, just thought it might be worth an ask.

Lol, was it that obvious :)

I got hold of some 3m x 3m canvas dust sheets, about £12 each and got a couple sewn together as I wanted a natural canvas background. They paint well and at reasonable F stops and focal length they render awesome.

Yep, I'm thinking thats the route I may have to go down.
I did it once before years ago when still living at home, it took a while for my mum to recover from the trauma of having her kitchen ruined

Have you tried backdrops.us. I have had smaller ones painted( you can't wash them) but they have been priced ok for my needs

Thanks for that, looking at their site, it looks like they've got what I want, but at $400 excluding Tax and shipping! I might try a DIY job first especially as it's going to get trashed quite quickly.
