I want a big acrylic printing. Around 60x40" if I can. I want it to be of good quality and happy to pay for it.

I don't want cheap. I don't want to drop a lot of money on something and it looks a bit naff either.

And maybe I'm asking for a bit too much here but is it possible to get it in a box frame too? Loxely do something like I want I think but they don't go very big :(

Any help would be appreciated.

And while I'm here (probably the most important question), is it possible to print something that big from a 12MP camera? (D90) is there anything I can do to upscale it or something? :)

shouldn't have any problems with that size but you'll need to resize it. I use Perfect Re-size which works for me.

I usually crop in CS5 and put the size in I want (so 10" x 8" 300dpi). Will that do the same thing? Or am I way off the mark?

Very Droll ;)

I dont know I've not actually compared it, and call me a sucker, but I don't think they'd sell that much of the resize software if it didn't make a difference, but I could be talking out of my arse :)

 I didn't even realise!

I've just had a quick look at the software, from their sample picture it looks good! Might download the trial and give it a go! Thank you! :)

Now anyone know a good supplier for Acrylics? :D

Hmmm...they look very good. Do you have to have an "account" with them or will they do one off's ?

Thank you very much!

Do you have to register to get costs or call their sales department?

Took delivery of a photobox acrylic yesterday, they had an offer the other month to buy credit for an acrylic 60x30cm print at nearly half price, paid £30, however postage was another £7.50 - but was kept abreast of delivery via text, even letting me know which hour slot to expect delivery.

Pleased with the print, did the whole increase size by a percentage in Photoshop to reach my desired size, however looking at the print up close, I do regret not doing a better job of it (which perhaps a third party software would've done).

Oh, and no Photobox logo near the finished product :D

Sorry late reply.

Yes I have an account with them. Quite useful as they make frequent special offers.

Service is superb as you would expect from Germany and my contact speaks excellent English.

I've just registered now with them.

I can only see wholesale prices on the website? Is that right? I will more than likely give them a call when I have some spare time anyway. :)

Thanks for showing me them though! :)

When I am logged in to my area I get to choose type of print (acrylic, canvas etc.) and the price changes depending on size ticked and the various mount options.

I'll pm you my contact details

For upscaling I use photoshop 'image size' and have 'resample image' checked - you will see it increases the number of pixels. Have to be careful with this though as it can make some photos lose sharpness.
