Bievres Photo Fair 2014

I'm thinking about making my first trip to the annual photo fair in Bievres (south of Paris) this coming weekend.
I wondered if anybody had any experience of that fair from previous years and / or were intending to go this year.

Just out of curiosity, can everyone see this thread showing in the forum listings [as in here > http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/talk-film-conventional.56/ ] ? @Darwinean_JohnUK is having a few issues and we are trying to narrow it down until an admin can take a look.

Yes I can see it too ....Perhaps that is real good news given that i'm about 1000 miles away!!

Jealous I am! .................................Blimey i live in France and never been to this fair.

Form what i understand it's supposed to be very interesting with a whole mixture of equipment and photography methods on show.

A report back on here from your own experience would be great......It might tempt me to make the effort to visit myself next year, perhaps even try and arrange a TP film meet there

Shame you can't get there this time Asha but, yes, it could be a great venue for an annual TP meet.

I'm sure that a meet in France is a great idea but I'm fairly sure that there are quite a few of us who are not allowed to leave the country and many more who would not be allowed back in if we did.

Could be an excuse for the UK to rid itself of some riff raff f&c togs ........there again i'm not so sure the gendarmerie would accept 'em.
