just wandering

i want to get a nice picture of my 3 kids together

it is for the living room wall but im not sure about back grounds

our walls are kinda like a dark magnolia and the kitchen is like a deep purple

my question is, is it possible to get a back ground from the net, i have looked but not sure where to search

if any on could tell me that would be great

I dont see why a plain wall cant make a decent background.
Obviously you wont get an infinity curve for full body shots, but if its top half only then just use a wall. you could even use sheets, curtains etc.

Not sure about getting a background on the web, sure you could find lots of grat pics all over the place, but then copywrite comes into it, so i guess look for images that are ok to use for personal use. Cant remember whether its creative commons or royalty free, maybe someone else will clarify that. As for pasting it into the background in photoshop, there are a few threads kicking about that explains how to extract people from backgrounds.

My method.
Make a new image 10x8 (A4) 300 dpi white.
Select the 2 colours you want on the colours check boxes (left toolbar)
Filter render clouds.
Now it gets tricky, using the rectangular marquee select a bit less that a quarter, CRTL+T and drag the quarter over the full size image (this makes the cloud pattern bigger) click return to "fix" the transform, finally CTRL+D to deselect.
This is the basic background, now for the hotspot if required
Filter render lighting effects, where it says spotlight switch it to omni, drag the centre to where you want the hotspot and drag the outer ring for the size, ajust the intensity to suit and click ok.
