hey peeps, just took delivery of my new bg-e3 battery grip for my 400d, was in 2 minds wether to buy buy im glad i did its absolutly amazing, makes the camera feel alot better to hold and more steady in the hands and makes the 400d look alot better too, only had it 30 mins to i will give you more feedback on it when ive given it a good going over:):):):):):)

Always use one on my 40D and 5D Mark II, makes the camera handle a lot better IMHO and wouldn't be without them :thumbs:

I agree completely! I just got my grip today. Enjoy yours too, it'll make the handling better and portrait shooting is infinately easier.
 
I got my BG-E2 for the 40D a few days ago (courtesy of MPB Photographic :-)) and it's fabulous. The added weight balances out the camera nicely and portrait shooting is really easy. Enjoy!
 
One of my first purchases - got a BG-E5 clone which has built in IR remote, one feature missing on the 1000D - great buy for £53 inc p&p. definately i
mproves handling :woot: Enjoy yours.

A BG-E3 is the next item on my shopping list too :D
 
I'll always buy a grip for my cameras... :) Had the BG-E3 on my 400D and recently bought a BG-E5 for my 450D.
