Hi guys, im interested what wireless mics you are using? What u think is best for filming some video shots with dslr or gopro ? I heard a lot about Sennheisers, but its super overpriced, do you know any other good wireless mics witch would be a bit cheaper and would have good quality ??? and of course anyone can recommend it where can i buy that mics system?

I use Senheiser radio mics. They are not cheap, but they are rugged and work well. You may be able to pick up a good one second hand bit be careful it may be on the now illegal frequencies. These were changed a few years ago. It now means that to operate the common channel 38 mikes you need a license to be legal. You could opt for units that work on channel 70( No license required ) , but I found these difficult to obtain in the UK.

You could look at the Samson AirLine range of mics . They are about 1/2 the price of the Senheiser equivalent, but reports I read stated they were not as easy to use as the Senheisers. However you may want to trade off price against ease of use.

Have a look at the new Rode system that's just been announced, very good spec and excellent value. I have several of their mics and all very good.

Also check out the Rode smart Lav+, cracking mic but records to smartphone so you have to sync later but aside from that a great solution. Cheap as chips too

It is worth getting a decent lav mic even if you economise a little on the radio system itself. Mic technology hasn't moved on much for a long time so you can buy once and forget about it. The Sennheiser ME2 is reliable and cheap at around £50 used.
