Best (value for money) Ballhead for Travel Tripod

I need to replace my red snapper ballhead on my Gitzo Traveller series 1 tripod, I have a markins on my main Gitzo tripod and dont really want to stretch to that sort of cost but wouldnt mind something a bit better than the red snapper thats on there now. I havent been in the loop on new equipment for over 5 years, so whats the go to brands nowadays, any ideas on where to start looking?

I'm happy with the little Manfrotto one that's on my travel tripod. Only problem is that the head's on the 'pod and that's in a basement in Crete so I'm afraid I can't tell you which head it is! I've used it under a D750 for 30 second exposures with no visible trailing due to slippage.
