Best technique for adjusting over exposure?

Hi,
Just a quick question I have a few shots where the subjects face is over exposed. These are RAW shots and am using DPP which sliders should I be using?!

if you have the latest version of dpp go to the raw page and reduce the highlights slider first , then the exposure , go to the rgb page and play with the curves , however usually when its overexposed youre goosed

Personally I'm not a fan of DPP's highlight recovery. I'd suggest downloading a trial of Photoshop or Lightroom and use the highlight recovery in ACR. It works well.
