Sorry, probably been done a 1000 times....

Following my dismal performance at Motogp, Im going to go to BSB on Saturday and have another try.

I have own ideas on locations, but theres only two sessions so I need to get at least one full session in a good spot......

D300 body btw.

1) Inside of Copse corner, assuming the Copse tunnel is open. Pan and focus through the fence.

2) The exit of Luffield should be good if you can eliminate the fence effect. Morning session at this spot could give you the best lighting & shadows, that's what I found at FP1 for MotoGP this year.

3) Opposite the pits, stood by the side of the Woodcote grandstand I think, again focus through the fence. Good if you catch a pit board handing over the wall in the background.

4) Outside of Copse, the sterotypical Silverstone shot looking down the old pit straight.

5) The inside of Brooklands with the BRDC building in the background. I've seen some awesome shots on this forum taken through that fence at a nice low shutter speed. It takes skill tho, which I've lacked when I've tried.

Thank you.

Enjoyed today. Took over 450 RAW shots and initial sifting is looking more promising then the GP.

Shot from Luffield, thenw alked round and tried Copse inner but wasnt happy.

Walked round to external of Church and shot throught the whole in fence for us toggers.

Then watched and shot the SSP from Vale.

Images will follow, but 70/300 really isnt up to much here........espcially at the soft long end.
