Best shows on Prime/Netflix?

Just watched "The RIP" on Netflix. Pretty good cop thing with a twist.

Started "The Beauty" on D+ and that is one f****d up show

@gman I love The Expanse. One of my all time favourites. Check out season one of Altered Carbon (y)

I watched the RIP last week, slow start but the middle was great, however, I remember at the time the end was feeling a bit lacking - although I now can't even remember lol

Just finished season 4 with The Expanse, they've done a good job of keeping the story interesting without getting ridiculous.

I'll check out Altered Carbon cheers.

I agree with you on the last couple of scenes. Bit of a lame finish. But overall enjoyed it.

The first series of Altered Carbon is fantastic with a look and feel that is more like a film than a TV series but it has proper time to go through how the core technology (no spoilers) and its consequences. I've watched the series a few times but still like putting it on from time to time and while it's a shame the second series is not worth watching at least the first series is entirely standalone.

Just started Steal. Great first episode.

Well, it's the last episode of fallout tonight. So you guys can get your binge on :ROFLMAO: I'm gonna go through it again. Well worth it.

Currently re watching Firefly on D+. Love that show (and the film).

Just watched "Predator Badlands" D+
Cracking fun. Same bunch who did "Prey" (which is also a cracker).

I didn't enjoy the second season of Fallout as much to be honest.

Steal was ok, the last episode was a bit poor though. We are currently working through The Walking Dead again as a family and I'm watching The Expanse still, season 4 now.

That's a shame. I wonder if the initial impact was the cause.
I only watched ep one of Steal. Just couldn't get into it. I loved the early stuff of The Walking Dead, but it kinda got a bit samey after a while. The Expanse is always worth a re watch imho.

Watched the first 4 episodes of 'A knight of the seven kingdoms' - it's building nicely, getting to that point where I'm hungry for the next ep [actually ep 3/4 both leave you that way, which is promising]

Enjoying
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Oh that looks interesting. I loved GoT.

Started Robin Hood on Prime*. 3 episodes in and it's actually not bad so far.

* Got a free trial of MGM+. When I went to cancel, I got 3 months at 99p instead of £5.99

hummm got to about ep 6 on this and abandoned it grew way to many arms and legs

It feels as if it doesn't take itself as seriously [as GOT], some good ol'dark humour, but like GOT it's a 'grower'- give it at least a couple episodes :)

Has anyone been watching from heaven to Belfast on Netflix?

My wife thinks it’s hilarious, I found it about as funny as a punch to the side of the head.

Was mildly interesting only because a good bit of it was filmed at a wedding venue I have worked at a few times.

Just watched the first episode last night, as I found Derry Girls very good and this is the same writer, however I doubt if I will be watching any more episodes as it was rubbish.

Finished it yesterday, looking forward to season 2. ;)

not for me ta considering it was set in like 1500 ish it just seemed massively over complicated veyr early on

its a bit marmite that i watched derry girls s01 and it was howling funny but after that not so much....

Also watching Being Gordon Ramsay on Netflix

I only just started that for about 10 mins to see if I'd like it. That's some venture he's taking on!

Now for Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

This is very good IMHO, I wasn't sure to start but with every episode I became more invested. Bummer is that there's only 6 episodes

It is a pretty short book for a George RR Martin and I guess they will want a few seasons out of it.

Been watching Young Sherlock, mixed feelings but it's a decent enough watch. Couldn't quite place Sherlock's dad Joseph Fiennes at first, then I remembered he's the creepy guy from The Handmaid's Tale (also Enemy at the Gates).

It started strong but found it got boring really fast. By the end I had completely lost interest and was watching TikTok on my phone while it played in the background which is never a good sign.

I`ve just finished "Southland". It`s quite old, but for a cop show, I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of "Hill St Blues".

Loved that from years ago. I did see that it was now streaming, got it on favourites.

I was surprised at the amount of familiar (albeit young) faces I recognised.

Started "Animal Kingdom" again now. That was fun then first time around.
