Best shows on Prime/Netflix?

I’ve started watching Dark - a German drama on Netflix. Dubbing is a bit amateur but so far so good. Bit of Nordic Noir/Bridge/Revenants/Hinterland feel to it.

I enjoyed Stranger Things 3 but they had to ruin the last episode..

I enjoyed Stranger things more than I thought I might, I think season 2 was the best though everyone raves about S3 - I wasn't feeling it as much

anything like Umbrella Academy? I enjoyed that one a lot, Heroes aren't usually my cuppa

I was a bit unsure about that one to start with but thoroughly enjoyed it once I got into it.

Just started season 7 of Elimentary ... reasonable series but was a bit strange having women as Watson and Moriarty (although I have noticed women are gradually taking over the world for real anyway).

Yeah it wouldn't be my usual type of thing but I really got into it, hopefully there will be a season 2

Spent a while flicking through Netflix and Prime, getting despondent as couldn't find anything of interest to watch. Tried a couple but rapidly lost interest. I had previously seen the trailer for Ozark and it didn't really appeal. But, on Friday, I decided to give it a go and I ended up watching the whole of season 1 over the weekend. Starting season 2 tonight when I get home from work.

Season 3 was definitely the best so far. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for season 4.

Just finished season 3 of The Expanse on prime. Excellent, proper space opera.

Also noticed that Prime has lots of Series of Will and Grace, Modern Family, House and all of Heroes. There's also all the series of ancient but excellent channel 4 Sitcom Desmond's.

A lot of the content is too samey unfortunately.

My daughter, the one who twisted my arm to watch it, loved season 3. For me the character development was a lot deeper in S2, 3 has more action, just depends what you prefer

Now finished season 2 of Ozark. Hopefully not a long wait for the promised season 3.

Mindhunter season 2 now out. May be my next port of call after star trek discovery. Which Im not finding that good really, keep nodding off.

I finished season 2 over Christmas - thought third season would see summer but the last was late Aug - and well, doesn't look like that'll happen

Finished Series 2 on Sunday - Can't wait for the third series to air now.

Started watching Wu Assassins on Netflix. First couple of episodes were good. 3rd episode just seemed to be multiple martial art fights and very little story line. Can't decide if I want to watch episode 4 or not.

I think all the sitcoms made by Channel 4 are available for free to watch on their site. They also have lots of other stuff of theirs too, not just comedies.

They also have programs from other countries, the foriegn dramas, some things they haven't shown on TV. One I used to watch was a sitcom called Community, which I think C5 or BBC started showing the first couple of series of, but then it disappeared. Channel 4 have it to watch online. :) They have some films too, Dredd, Die Hard's 1,2 and 4 to name a few. I was looking at the 'D's' to see if Desmonds was there, and it is. ;) They have quite a lot to watch considering it's free.

Watched them all and I enjoyed them too.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

On Netflix USA 11th October, hopefully here at the same time (maybe a day later)

Looking forward to that, also the 5th season of Better call Saul.

Ozark is mega. One of the best series Ive watched on Netflix I think. 1 episode of S2 left to watch then waiting for S3.

I watched the first episode of The Spy, my missus finished it and said it was worth it to stick with so I'll give it a go.

Green Book on Prime , Very good and based on a true story .

Although there are some glaring mistakes
1) Israelis write from right to left, not left to right
2) The Peugeot 404 had a loose rear near side light during the search, not very good considering only 7 were in existence then and he'd paid a premium to get a first delivery, then again it was a Peugeot, so maybe that's accurate
3) Images from his spy camera are out of this world for such a small negative.

Other than that it's not bad, one minor point though, surely Sacha should have been cast as Freddie Mercury :-)

I binged episodes 2-4 last night, I wouldn't have noticed your first 2 points :D but did consider your 3rd. They always do this in film/tv though, even modern day where there's surveillance involved. They'll turn a kit lens into a 50x zoom with incredible detail, picking detailed faces out from miles away :D

Very good series so far, just about to get back to it here.

I worked in Israel in the 80's, so that's why I noticed the writing. Have you noticed how many left handers there are?
The tension is building and it doesn't let up in ep. 5

Just finished the series, dang that was good. Goosebumps a few times when certain names were mentioned also

21 Seasons of South Park. I misread it first thinking it was only first season...

Elemental that's a Sherlock Holmes related crime mystery series is also on Prime. Never heard of it before but it's been good. The Sherlock Holmes actor does tend to revert to a face smelling the worst smell they have encountered rather too often though. Resting stink face?

I think you may mean Elementary. ;)

Currently watching season 3 of Glitch on Netflix.
