So then, who is having the best sale?

The likes of Warehouse Express and Jessops seem to be dropping prices on the stuff they can't shift (as you would expect), but the mainstream stuff hasn't been chopped at all as far as I can see.

Anyone out there giving some serious reductions on mainstream gear (Canon in particular) that anyone knows of?

I doubt there's going to be many major bargains, the price increases forecast due to the dropping pound haven't hit us yet, if they do in the new year retailers would be daft to sell all their stock off at a discount when they can ramp the prices up in a few weeks

Haven't spotted anything great yet, but Amazon are doing money off on Magnum Magnum and The Moment it Clicks, so that's where my pressie money is going

Actually, Jessops are going a very good discount on a number of lenses. I ordered the 20/1.8 Nikon fit for just over £186! That's a real bargain me thinks, and makes me wonder why are they discounting that lens so much :shrug:
