Best program for RAW editing

Ive got PP CS3 and it doesnt seem to support RAW files (unless im being a PP numpty!!)

Anyone suggest a better software package to edit RAW files as im tending to shoot more RAW that JPEG now.

For developing Nikon raw files Capture NX2, it's not really photo shopping software but for developing it's what it's designed to do.

PP CS3 has ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) built in. You may have to upgrade it free from the Adobe web site. Double click on a raw file and it should open up within CS3 in Adobe Camera Raw. Job Done

It's designed for photographers - and in the quick mode the buttons are in 1/3 and full stop corrections

It's quite amazing - I have just revisited some RAW files I shot 8 years ago on my Kodak - and the conversions are way better than I could get back then - another good reason for shooting RAWs!

I had the same problem with my nikon. You have to go to the adobe site and download the nikon raw file add on for photoshop. When thats loaded when you click on a raw file it opens in photoshop for editing, or open bridge and the whole folder of your raw files can be viewed.
