As the title says really - gf wants a new camera nothing fancy, just a point and shoot. Budget is £100 or under.

Is there a consensus on whats the best in this price range?

I just bought a Fuji Z70 from Sainsburys.
Got it for £65 with parent's staff discount!
Seemed to get some good reviews.
