Best place to trade in camera body

I wanted to find out if anyone knew a good place to trade in used body's and upgrade - part exchange. I could use several stores that are advertised online but thought some of you lot may know a decent, reputable company that doesn't give you rubbish prices.

MPB are worth a bash, their part-ex prices have seemed okay when I've tried them.
 
I usually do the deal face to face so I can examine and test what I'm trading in for and the dealer can do the same with what I'm trading in. I have a very good relationship with my local shop and have done very nicely on most of the deals. They know I treat my kit well and I always keep the boxes for any new kit I buy. To add to MPB, Mifsuds in Brixham (see their ads in any AP and many other magazines - or google them) are reputable and fair.

WEX are also supposedly OK
 
WEX gave me a much better quote than MPB so I went to them for the first time, it is only part exchanging they do so make sure they have what you want to buy at a good price before going ahead with it.
The good thing about MPB is they offer the cash price, its a shame they dont offer a slightly higher value for a part exchange but it seems to be a system which is working for them.

I p/x'ed with Wex on Friday but still haven't heard anything about whether they've even received it yet. I tried calling them today to see if they had at least received it at about 4.30pm but the guy I spoke to said they hadn't looked at what had arrived yet but I would be getting an email as soon as they have. A bit disappointing really as MPB usually have the money in your account within about 2 days of it being collected the last time I used them.

I know its only been 2 days but I would have hoped to at least receive an email telling me they'd actually received it today.

I have always got the best prices from my LCE in Derby. Maybe it's because they know me know but always better than any where else.

I had an email today saying they had received my Fuji lens which I posted on Friday. I have part exchanged a few items with them and they are usually a little quicker than they have been with this lens. Also, they need to inspect the lens before they credit your account, which can take upto 5 days.

Compared to MPB, WEX offered £30.00 more so I dont mind waiting the extra time for more money. I suppose you then need to decide if it's better to have less money, but cash, to enable you to shop around on next purchase or be tied to WEX with there credit note. Swings & roundabouts.
