Just a quickie guys, I've got a 4G contract on my phone but just bought a new ipad with cellular so I'm now in need of a cheap and cheerful sim for 1gb of data each month in case I don't have the phone with me. Anyone have thoughts on it?
 
Three offer a PAYG data SIM with 12GB of data that lasts for 12 months. I paid £70, perhaps not the cheapest, but being valid for a year it solved the problem of losing the credit after 1 to 3 months as happens with many PAYG SIMS in my experience.

3 also do a 3GB or 3 month SIM for £20.50 which is what I usually use. However I recently tried an EE PAYG SIM which was 10GB for about the same money. Strange thing is that I seemed to go through the data allowance much quicker than I expected, in fact it didn't last the 3 months. I'm not sure if it's to do with the fact that I got great 4G receiption with the EE SIM or not, but I will probably go back to the 3GB/3 month deal from 3 when I replace it later this week.

Seriously.. have an original ipad with wifi and cellular.. looking to replace the sim (unlocked) with something cheap for a month. 1 Gb should do!

The EE sim will work with any current signal, so it doesn't matter if the signal (or equipment) is 2G, 3G or 4G.
 
I have an unlocked MIFI so I will use any company SIM in it. Currently using EE which is very fast. Almost as fast as my home broadband.
 
might have to try an EE one then!
