Yes I know a book is old fashioned but so am I ;) I like to wander off without any gadgets/distractions and read.

Can anyone suggest a book for a Lightroom 6 beginner?

Scott Kelby does good books also, but they're a little Marmite - you either love or hate his style of writing. The Martin Evening books are very good, but can go a little to much in detail for some.

Pop onto Amazon and "have a look inside" them to see which you prefer...

Thanks folks, ordered a couple of books :)

PS - bookmarks also made

Plus it's a zillion times easier to pause, FF or RW a proper paper book. I love e-books for general reading, and videos are great for some things. But when I want to learn something then a real book just can't be beat.

While you are looking for books about Lightroom 6, do not forget to also look for books about Lightroom CC too, as they both are just about the same, expect for any little hardly noticeable different, but otherwise, either books would work fine for either version of Lightroom.

I don't know about other writers, if others suggest those writers, then I wouldn't mind looking those up, but I agree with others who suggest books by Scott Kelby. I've downloaded one of his books (iBook version), about Lightroom CC, and so far so good, it's great.
