Best lighting kit for home portrait use

Hi guys/gals, im looking into buying a lighting kit to do home portraits of kids/familys ect, just wanted to pick your brains and find the best kit for my money, needs to be portable enough to use in peoples homes ect, looking at a budget of £300-£400...

I've got the lencarta starter kit with softbox, £305 and its great...though I only got it on friday!

thanks for the replys guy's, hey chris ive been keeping an eye on your other posts, very interesting. i think i might go for the lencarta kit.

I'm struggling with space at the moment (as you'll see in my other thread) but the good folk of this forum are helping me out.
