Need to run LR6, PS13 and Excel etc and attach in to a 1TB Hard drive with all my Mac Desktop stuff on it?

any other suggestions - weight is important

Yes that is the best at the moment,

There is one in the classifieds, that works very very well ;)

Thanks Andy - less spec than I wanted as I need to process D750 and similar files

Can it be upgraded to 8GB

what does that model cost new today?

It would be, however a 13" would be much easier to work on. Have you ever tried using an 11" screen for either excel or LR/PS? Not fun. I suggest you try in an Apple store before you order one.

I have a 15" 2.4 i5 - 8GB - 500SSD MacBookPro

but it is just a little big and heavy for what I want it for

Something as fast as this is what I am after with an 11 inch screen

£899. Not pimping it but I could if you mail me a file, and let me know what you wanted done I would screen record it for you.

I can try one this weekend, my son-in-law has one - but he reckons that I will find it too slow for what I need

sorry as it sounds good
