As the title says really..looking to get the other half a nice compact for her Birthday soon..preferrably one with half decent video recording capability..
Had a quick look at the samsung nv24hd..anyone used these?..I know she also likes the sony cybershots...
 
Get her what she likes, that way it's less likely to be your fault :)

Hehe, very true :lol: I'd suggest a Canon IXUS 90 or similar. Very good compacts. Haven't one myself but everyone I've spoken to who has one doesn't have a bad word to say
 
:lol: Oh well all sorted got her a panasonic lumix TZ5...must say its a lovely little camera
 
:) It may well do but the panasonic got me a nice indian takeaway and a bottle of wine so this gets the thumbs up for me..lol:D
