Hi all,
Because of what I do, I travel relatively often which is great but it also means that I can't carry a big dslr everywhere. It doesn't stop me but its frankly a right pain and it would make a lot of sense for me to have a good compact camera.
Now I realise that the size means a tradeoff and I won't achieve DSLR quality but what would be the best compact for under £500? It would be ideal if the camera would fit in a largish jacket pocket.
I was looking at the Fuji X10, and the general consensus seems to be that there's not much for under £500 that can beat the X10 for image quality.
Can anyone advise? I'm not currently interested in going micro 4/3.
