Best Case for Canon 650D

Hi All

New member here, just wanted a quick bit of advice.

I just bought a Canon 650D with 18-135mm STM lens, naturally I need a case to go with it, any recommendations? I wont be carrying anything else (flashgun, extra lens etc) so was looking at Lowepro as they seem to be well recommended but their website is a bit confusing as to which bag will fit!

The lens appears to be the key issue as its not standard size, hence the need to look around for the correct bag.

Apologies I have posted this in the wrong forum/section, I'm new to all this and will learn!

I'm in a similar situation oak though camera not here yet and eying up bag options

I was looking for a similar thing but perhaps with room for an extra lens, the kit zoom and a prime. I think the lowepro urban sling fits the bill but looking for opinions you might like to take a look on their website I found some video reviews through google also. They do it in a couple of sizes to http://www.lowepro.com/urban-photo-sling

I liked the idea of a sling, but it wont be appropriate when I just need a camera case, not a whole bag.

I have the 18-135mm stm lens, reason being its allegedly a great all-rounder so again just keen on a single camera case for one lens

I have a small shoulder bag that I picked up from eBay. Fits in 1 camera with lens attached, maybe another lens at a squeeze if they're fairly compact lenses. Quite smart and rugged, absolutely love it. Tan canvas, removable semi stiff padding and a load of fairly sizeable pockets for accessories.

I use it all the time on short day trips if I know what I'll be shooting as it forces me to limit what I'm carrying. It's pointless having a whole backpack if there's a good chance I'm only going to use 1 lens.

I think it was a £30 Chinese import billingham rip off type job from eBay. If you're interested I'll find a link and share.

Same seller I brought from, received within a few days of ordering. There's cheaper sellers for the same bag if you search for "bbk 2 canvas" and there's also a slightly larger size I think. But this should be identical to the one I brought seeing as its the same seller.

I got a lowepro urban sling 250....but probably you could get away with the smaller model, depends if you want space for other stuff....
